Item Description
1.75" no maker. As with the previous item, the exact same photo was used of Wally in a Pirates cap, even though the button is for the Cardinals. Wally Westlake began his Major League career in 1947 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he played for the next five seasons through 1951 before moving on to the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles and finally, the Philadelphia Phillies. The highlight of Westlake's career was a National League all-star selection in 1951. One tiny 1/16" tan dot on his left cheek and light wear in reflected light. Glossy. Fine.  Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
