Item Description
Packaging is 2.25x4.25x7" tall overall and includes thin clear plastic cover. Ingraham, ©1954 Kagran. Box bottom reads "Howdy Doody Wrist Watch - It's New - It Teaches Time." Slot at top of base holds die-cut cardboard display figure of Howdy as Sheriff. Base has some corner tip/edge wear and figure has small area of separation and small crease at tips of fingers. Plastic cover has shrunk slightly over the years and as such now fits tightly. Top back edge has 2.75" split and three approx. 1" cracks at end of this and at corners. Cover has yellowed w/age. Packaging is VG/Fine overall. Display holds .75x1-3/8" chrome luster metal watch w/original blue leather bands (also issued w/red bands). Character portraits on dial include Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally. Crystal has lightly yellowed w/age but watch is o/w unused, old store stock. Watch has not been tested due to tightness of cover, but case retains full luster and watch displays NM. High grade, choice condition example.
