Item Description
Lot of four 4.25" tall empty glass jars w/tin litho screw tops. H.D. Food Products. © Kagran, 1950s. From scarcer series that featured different Howdy Doody character lids. Offered here are - Howdy Doody, Clarabell, Summerfall Winterspring and Flub-A-Dub, each w/"It's Howdy Doody Peanut Butter Time" text. Howdy and Flub-A-Dub jars have original labels, which feature Howdy Doody portrait. Howdy jar label has inkstamped store price on face and is evenly aged. Flub-A-Dub label also has inkstamped store price at right and is missing sliver at top left corner. Labels are VG/Fine overall and jars/lids are Fine to VF overall w/some lt. edge wear. Princess lid has faint inkstamped store price. Clarabell jar is replacement while others are correct original jars. Rare w/labels.
