Item Description
2-1/8" c. 1900 with W&H name on curl but missing the back paper. One of three designs issued for those attending a convention at the "Oriental" Temple in Troy, New York. Initiate stands in his black socks, pantless, wearing one of the company's shirts as he grasps a rope and his hair stands on end in fear of what is to come. His companion camel wears a fez and collar. Text is "Compliments Of International Shirt & Collar Co." Very light stain around outer edge and just a bit off center design, but still great color, gloss and graphics. Among the best early 1900s ad buttons and scarce. Fine.
