Item Description
Approx. 6x9.75" sheet of vellum has pencil and pen and ink concept sketches of two similar, but differently composed scenes, both showing warrior fighting reptile-like humanoid while giant snake menaces woman tied to post in bkg. c. 1970. Art is by Roy Krenkel (1918-1983), an illustrator who specialized in fantasy and historical drawings and paintings for books, magazines and comic books. Left image has been inked while right image is pencil. Vertical fold just left of center. Sheet is evenly aged. VF. Nice sword and sorcery content.
