Item Description
Printed "The Detroit Tigers" baseball. Signed by members of the 1968 World Series Champions Detroit Tigers and has 33 signatures in total. Signatures include HOF members Al Kaline and Eddie Mathews. Other key players include - Willie Horton, Norm Cash, Gates Brown (2), Bill Freehan, Jim Northrup, Denny McLain, Ray Oyler, Mickey Lolich, Don McMahon and Joe Sparma. Full list of names online. Of note, Kaline has signed sweet spot. The Tigers won the 1968 World Series, defeating the St. Louis Cardinals four games to three. Detroit pitcher Denny McLain won the Cy Young Award and was named the AL's MVP after winning 31 games. Mickey Lolich pitched three complete games in the World Series (and won all three) to win World Series MVP honors. Some signatures appear a bit lt. but all remain legible. Ball has lt. aging and is Fine overall, but remains a very nice example for this team. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
