Item Description
For same promotion as previous item. 10.5x14" stiff paper folder advertises two different Rice Krispies premiums; a "Motor Bike Imitator" which was attached to a bicycle to create a "Putt-Putt" sound and Snap, Crackle and Pop doll set. Various boxes, ad mats and poster (see previous item) are shown inside as well as illustration of the Snap doll surrounded by additional images of all three. Back features various publications advertisements would appear in, including DC Comics titles "All-American Comics" #92, "Adventure Comics" #23, "Action Comics" #115, "Flash Comics" #91 and "Detective Comics" #130. These are all 1947 issues, matching doll date inside folder. Corner tip wear at upper/lower right but clean and VF overall. Rare. 7x8" mailing envelope w/image of Snap contains 11.5x14" fabric doll sheet, ©1948 Kellogg Co. Envelope features illustration of "Snap" and mentions the other two dolls. Back has unused order blank. Grease pencil number where mailing label was to be placed. Top center margin has staple holes but VF. Fabric sheet has pair of fold lines as issued but o/w NM. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
