12.5x18" letter press on thin paper. Text below graphic of eagle perched on American shield reads "The Republicans Of Lahaska And Vicinity Will Raise A Garfield And Arthur Pole On Saturday, August 7th, 1880, At 6:30 O'clock." A 5" vertical tear affecting the "&" at top and extending into eagle design. Otherwise paper chipping along top and bottom edges, that would frame out, and moderate age toning. VG. The unusual and attractive horizontal format make this a standout.
