Envelope shows mailing wear w/moderate creasing at edges/corners and even aging to back. Fine. Front cover of magazine has color photo of night action scene w/batter Ed Mathews in home game at Milwaukee Stadium. Contents include "The Battle Of The Bubblegum" complete w/three-panel fold-out which opens to 11.5x23.5" and pictures 27 example cards from the Topps Gum 250 card set of 1954. Back of each card is printed exactly like actual card. Players shown include - Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, Duke Snider, Ted Williams, Larry Doby, Gil Hodges. Issue also features nice color photos of Rocky Marciano boxing Ezzard Charles. Issue has some minor pinch creases to spine, scattered minor edge wear and .25" corner crease at bottom right. Still a clean and VF copy w/scarce envelope.
