Item Description
27x41.25" w/"The W. F. Powers Co. Litho; NY" in bottom right corner. C.1918. Produced for the third Liberty Loan. Signed in print by illustrator Edmund Marion Ashe. Featuring a doughboy hurling a grenade into a trench of German troops. Moderate handling most notably a 4.5" diagonal crease at bottom center that just breaks the surface paper affecting the "M" in "Utmost." Otherwise light even age toning. Fine and will frame to VF.
