Item Description
Lot of seven paper concert flyers, measuring between 8.5x11" and 8.5x14". Concert dates range from May 18, 1979
to 1990; all concerts were headlined by Dead Kennedys. Additional acts included - Lewd, Crucifix, Surgical Penis Klinik (SPK), Factrix, Minimal Man, No Alternative, Middle Class Woundz, Lydia Lunch and Lock Jaw, DOA, Silencers and others. Largest flyer is for 1990 Jello Biafra spoken word performance. All are for San Francisco venues/dates, which include - Mabuhay Gardens (May 18 and Sept. 8), On Broadway (June 27-28), Fab Mab (Aug. 6), Oddfellows (May 16),
Fillmore Auditorium (May 26) w/Biafra venue being Slim's (Nov. 21). Most feature collage style graphics, of note one includes censored photo views of female genitalia while another features noose and gallows. Varying degrees of aging/handling wear, w/penciling to upper right corners on backs of all but one. Biafra flyer has five staple holes at corners and shows moderate handling wear. VG. Rest are VF to Exc.
