Item Description
11x17" on white back paper. Photocopy process produced before the show for promotion of a concert on "Wed. August 5" at "backstage" in Seattle, WA featuring "Variant Cause With Alice 'N Chains And Ruff Toiz." Horizontal crease at at center and diagonal crease at top right corner. Otherwise extremely clean. Fine. Layne Staley joined the glam metal band Size in 1984 and in 1986 they changed their name to "Alice 'n Chains." When the band dissolved a year later Staley began rooming w/guitarist Jerry Cantrell who convinced Staley to join his new band featuring rhythm section of Mike Starr and Sean Kinney. That group eventually decided on the name "Alice In Chains." A rare and historic early career Staley poster representing one of the twists and turns on his rise to grunge rock superstardom.
