Item Description
3.5x5.25" vintage silver gelatin matte postcard depicting 13 ballplayers in full uniform along with one gentleman in formal attire posed in a single file line with baseball bats in hand in front of stadium seating. The 1910 McPherson Merry Macks club was a member of the Kansas State League, finishing in second place with a record of 59-52, managed by Charles Conklin. The franchise would only play four years of professional baseball from 1908-11. Postcard exhibits lt., even corner wear, divided postcard back has been postally cancelled with a date of August 1. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
