Item Description
12.25x17.75" vintage matte premium depicting 30 team members in full uniform along with the team trainer posed in front of stadium seating. Caption at top of photo reads: "The New York Giants of 1947", Beneath photo reads "Exclusive Journal American Photograph", lower right- hand corner credits the photographers: Jack O'Brien and Matthew Black. All individuals pictured in the photo are identified at bottom based on their location in the image. The 1947 New York Giants finished in 4th place in the National League with a record of 81-73 under manager Mel Ott (HOF). The Giants club was highlighted by two National Baseball Hall of Famers in the line-up, slugging first baseman Johnny Mize and catcher Ernie Lombardi.  Premium presents very nicely with no significant condition issues to note.
