Item Description
Brass ring w/adjustable bands showing a full figure batter on each side w/crossed baseball bats below. Ring top has high relief baseball w/"Base Ball Centennial" text surrounding high relief baseball w/"1839-1939" dated. Ring was first issued in 1938 as a General Mills Wheaties and Corn Kix premium for the "Jack Armstrong" radio show. The next year Quaker Puffed Rice offered the remaining supply as a premium promoted in Sunday newspaper ads.. High grade example w/bright full luster. NM.
