Item Description
Muffets Shredded Wheat premium issued in 1949 w/adjustable brass bands and catcher's mitt between two crossed bats on each side. Top is designed as a baseball w/three small dials and cut-out windows for counting balls, strikes and outs. Center has full figure small image of Andy Pafko batting w/facsimile signature above. During the time this ring was produced, Andy was a member of the Chicago Cubs (1943-51). He also played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Milwaukee Braves. A five-time All-Star and Wolrd Series champ in 1957. Scattered luster wear. Fine overall.
