Item Description
2.5". No maker. Button text circles his uniform number "6" at center. We believe this was a Tigers staff button worn at the stadium for this single day event and that would account for its rarity (as opposed to the more common litho button offered as the next item). Kaline spent his entire career w/the Tigers, 1953-1974. 18-time All-Star and World Series champ in 1968. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1980. Has a .25" cello rim split at bottom (only shows on reverse) and noticeable staining on white bkg., mostly around rim. Still glossy but VG. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
