1.75" dia. Union bug on rim curl. Rim text in Spanish and English. Issued shortly after Clemente's tragic death in a plane crash while attempting to deliver relief supplies to earthquake-stricken victims to Nicaragua. Shown in Pittsburgh Pirates cap, Clemente played his entire MLB career w/the Pirates, 1955-1972. A fifteen-time All-Star, NL MVP in 1966 and two-time World Series champ. Inducted in the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1973. Age spot on forehead but this blends somewhat, few faint rim age spots. Still glossy, Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
