1.75". No maker. Text is set against a baseball bkg. The 1939 Cincinnati Reds were winners of the National League pennant with a regular season record of 97-57 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Bill McKechnie. This Cincinnati ball club was led by future Hall of Fame star catcher Ernie Lombardi, who was the National League MVP the previous season in 1938. The Reds would go on to lose the 1939 World Series to the mighty New York Yankees in four straight games. Crimping error as made at 5:00, mostly visible on back. Remains glossy and displays Exc.
