Item Description
1-1/8" tall. Enameled brass w/bar pin. Reverse is marked "Balfour." Great design featuring the Kansas City Athletics elephant mascot w/bat in trunk and standing atop a baseball. This was the first of two All-Star games in 1960. The game was held on July 11, 1960, at Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri the home of the Kansas City Athletics of the American League. The game resulted in the National League defeating the American League 5-3. A second all-star game was played two days later on July 13 at Yankee Stadium in New York City. This two All-Star game format took place 1959-62. NM.
