Item Description
2-1/8". Silvering 99% intact. Curl names maker W&H. This design was unknown to us as a mirror but it is identical to the Daisy Air Rifles celluloid attachment on a celluloid covered ink blotter which we offered in 2008 and which realized $5750. The blotter was a give-away promotional for the October 13-15, 1909 Atlantic City 15th Annual Convention of the American Hardware Manufacturers Association and the National Hardware Association. The celluloid attachment on that blotter was the same size and design however, the reverse was tin covered with a pair of brass prongs to join the celluloid front sheet to the pad of blotter sheets. Mostly likely, this mirror version was made at the same time. This is truly a  mirror that has it all; color, design, rarity, collector demand and NM. One known. Alan Weinberg Collection.
