3-5/8x6.5" first day cover envelope for "Sojourner Truth - Abolitionist - Reformer," part of ArtCraft's 1986 Black Heritage Series. Front has been boldly inscribed/signed in black felt tip pen by Civil Rights activist and presidential hopeful Jesse Jackson, who has added "11/16/91" date and "Tom: Keep Hope Alive" inscription. FDC has been postmarked New Paltz, NY Feb. 4, 1986. FDC has lt. even aging and staple hole at bottom left corner. Still displays VF overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
