Item Description
1.75", no maker with concave back and fixed horizontal bar pin. See previous related 6.5" celluloid utilizing this identical photo. Nineteen uniformed players are shown with future National Baseball Hall of Fame manager, Connie Mack in his derby hat and suit at dead center.  Issued for their 1905 American League championship. Celluloid edge has bit of flattening above and below 3 o'clock, tiny air dots on right side that catch reflected light, small faint stain mark at 9 o'clock and on the reverse at this spot a 1/8" long triangular spot of missing cello and paper. The cello surface has all over scratches but obvious only in reflected light as they do not break the cello surface. The button retains high gloss and while smaller, the details are just as crisp as on the previous item. VG. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
