Item Description
1" litho, no maker name, with brass luster blank back. Pictured at center is starting pitcher, Guy Bush. The 1929 Chicago Cubs won the National League pennant with a final record of 98-54 under future National Baseball Hall of Fame manager, Joe McCarthy. Chicago was led offensively by a quartet of HOF'ers: Hack Wilson, Rogers Hornsby, Kiki Cuyler and Gabby Hartnett. The Cubs would go on to lose the 1929 World Series to the Philadelphia Athletics, 4 games to 1. Couple dots of paint off, the worst being tiny 1/16" V shaped mark above his right shoulder.
