First example Hake's has offered, 1.5" with back paper of Steiner, St. Louis. Highlights Cardinals logo superimposed on top of four leaf clover with the championship years of 1926-1928-1930-1931 notated on each leaf. The 1931 St. Louis Cardinals won the National League pennant with a final record of 101-53 under manager Gabby Street. The club was led on offense by the Hall of Fame trio of Jim Bottomley, Frankie Frisch and Chick Hafey. The mound corps was led by HOF starters Burleigh Grimes and Jesse Haines. St. Louis would go on to knock off the Philadelphia Athletics in seven games, to win the 1931 World Series. Three pin holes on back paper and three tiny tan dots on reverse by collet. Glossy, Exc.
