Item Description
Stiff cardboard 6.5" dia. w/tiny metal grommet at top and back with a hinged metal 7/8" spring clip. Metal clip is on clear plastic base held by grommet to the cardboard. Bluetone team photo on front. The 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers won the National League pennant with a record of 88-68 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Walter Alston. The offense was led by Duke Snider while the mound corps was led by the Hall of Fame duo of Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale. The Dodgers would go on to defeat the White Sox, 4 games to 2, to win the 1959 World Series. Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
