Item Description
Both of these are white plastic with reverse pins and pair of glued on accent ribbons. Back of each names "Arrow Pennant Co./San Angelo, Tex." First in pennant shape is 2-5/8" wide and includes gold plastic charm of glove/ball/bat. Couple tiny wear dots on pennant catch light. Second is 1.75" baseball design with glued on small full figure in gold plastic of a player throwing. Small, light purple tone around "RL" of World. The 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers won the National League pennant with a record of 88-68 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Walter Alston. The Chicago White Sox won the American League pennant with a record of 94-60 under future HOF manager Al Lopez. The Dodgers would go on to defeat the White Sox, 4 games to 2, to win the 1959 World Series. Both are VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection with the pennant badge being his Book Example.
