Item Description
1.75" no maker. Spring pin holding ribbon w/gold accent threads w/stapled on 4" wide paper pennant and multi-layer thin plastic petals forming a flower 3" wide by over a 1" deep. The 1965 Minnesota Twins won the American League pennant with a final record of 102-60 under manager Sam Mele. The offense was led by National Baseball Hall of Fame slugger Harmon Killebrew, while the mound corps was fronted by Jim "Mudcat" Grant and Jim Kaat. The Twins would go on to lose the 1965 World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven exciting games. Light tan tone and two crease lines on the pennant with one 1/16" tan dot on the button and very slight darkening of red rim at 1 o'clock. VF. Rare to find w/attachments.
