Final score for this game was American League 8, National League 3. This classic was best remembered for a line drive that was struck by Earl Averill (HOF) which hit pitcher, Dizzy Dean (HOF) in the foot. The resulting damage would hinder the rest of Dean's pitching career as he was never the same again. Ribbon ends with wear/splits but overall Fine, button is Exc.
