Item Description
1.75" no maker but has union bug back stamp. Photo portrait at center. Connie Mack began his Major League Baseball career as a player back in the late 1880s and would have a decent career on the field prior to becoming the Philadelphia Athletics full-time manager beginning in 1901 and remaining in that post for the next 50 years, leading the Athletics to numerous American League pennants on his way to becoming the winningest manager of all-time. Mack would be selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Couple tiny and barely seen age dots on the white panel above his name. Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
