Item Description
6.25x21" artboard has pen and ink original art w/screentone accents by Bob Lubbers and Dick Van Buren for Sept. 19, 1951 Tarzan daily strip No. 3777. Strip features three panels, showing Tarzan blinded by magnifying glass and hiding only to later be surrounded. Last panel has been signed by both artists. Back has handwritten "Trapped" story title in blue pencil and partially obscured stamp. Second panel has United Feature Syndicate paste-over strip. Upper left corner has some moisture staining at margins, which does not affect art. Fine overall, but art remains clean and could be matted for nice display.
