Item Description
Colorful and nicely designed 13x16x1.75" tall box w/built-in die-cut header card contains the largest of the Captain Video sets by Lido Toy Co. 1950s. Box designed w/pop-up die-cut "Captain Video" rocket in header. Back of box designed w/two punch-out Video Rangers w/space guns, two Captain Video Ranger badges and two punch-out space scenes. All remain unpunched. Box is evenly aged and has slight fade to left side panel. Header has two .75" creases to die-cut portion along top and box is o/w VF. Set No. 2106 is complete (aside from missing cellophane window) and contains 33-piece set of "Stratospheric Spacemen, Super Sonic Space Ships And Rocket Launcher." Tiny paper instruction slip also present. Hard plastic spaceships each have raised "Captain Video" name. Ships and accessory pieces came in many different color combinations. Some rubberbands have been replaced. Contents are NM. Easily the rare of all the Captain Video Lido sets and we have only offered a few in our 54 years.
