Item Description
8.5x11" sheet of black paper (w/pegholes along left) has two 6.75x9.5" sheets (w/paper backing) at center w/mixed media original art depicting Harlem Globetrotters Curly Neal, Geese Ausbie and Gip Gibson w/handwritten word balloons promoting sportsmanship and premium plastic trophy w/hand-lettered text reading "Globetrotter Sport Trophy Free Inside!" Top vellum sheet has cut-out areas which line up w/sheet underneath. Strip of glue staining along top as once attached. Art is o/w Exc. Unique. Comes w/"Creative Dummy Specifications" sheet dated "4/20/71" that has been filled out in ink and has attached stat featuring art of premium w/some handwritten notes. Lot also includes sealed bag of file copy premiums; six unused rubberband-powered basketball players (three different colors) still on sprues and sealed in original cellophane bags. These were offered as General Mills box inserts. Bag has Gold filing tag marked "Mack #15 - 8-27-71-2." NM. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
