Item Description
For a short time during the 1970s, Post produced Pink Panther Flakes cereal. Offered here is 6.5x9.5" sheet of vellum (w/backing paper) w/mixed media original art of early 1970s Pink Panther Zip Along Panther rubberband-powered premium w/hand-lettered "Complete With ZAP Launcher!" text. Vellum and backing paper are mounted on black paper w/plastic overlay. Strip of aging along tops as glued to backing paper. Art is o/w Exc. Unique. Comes w/"Creative Dummy Specifications" sheet dated "12-1-71." Two sheets w/pencil original art of the premium have been taped at center. Comes w/unused example of Trix Rabbit Racer premium (see box flat, lot #2215) which used same design concept shown on art. NM. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
