5/8" (16mm). Brass shell w/portraits of the Union officers and 1864 Presidential campaign rivals. McClellan has a surface indentation on cheek that occurred in manufacturing as the emulsion surface divots uniformly under magnification. Otherwise each side has only light wear around suspension hole and retains watery sheen in reflected light. Exc. Rare.
