Item Description
Pair of rolled 27x41" posters printed by Kilian Enterprises for the 10th anniversary of Star Wars. These posters were not distributed to theaters, instead being sold directly to fans. First is printed on stiff silver foil stock and features classic "A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away..." crawl text w/iconic "Star Wars" title below and "May 25th 1977-1987" dates. Bottom center has "Star Wars 1977-1987 - The First Ten Years" logo. 1" margin tear at lower right. As rolled, poster's material has obvious horizontal rippling and poster is Fine overall. Second is heavy stock poster featuring Drew Struzan art for "The First Ten Years - Star Wars" poster, ©1987 Lucasfilm Ltd. Part of a signed and numbered edition of 3,000, poster has been signed in pencil by artist Struzan at lower left w/hand-numbered "821/3000" edition numbered in pencil. Poster has some corner tip wear but could easily be framed for an Exc. display.
