Item Description
In 1977, Clarks shoes undertook an extensive promotion to capitalize on Star Wars. This included a Star Wars Fan Club as well as Star Wars show models and various incentives. Offered here is 22x44" thin plastic banner for window display in shoe stores, featuring a variation of the classic Star Wars one sheet movie poster design. Large "Star Wars By Clarks" logos/text at right. These banners were easily susceptible to fading and cracks given the material, but this example remains clear and free of any cracks. Rolled w/just some minor scattered handling wear. VF/Exc. overall. Rare display piece from the early days of Star Wars and the first we've ever offered.
