9x12" program w/12 pages devoted to "Our Champion" Joe Louis (1914-1981), nicknamed the Brown Bomber, reigned as the world heavyweight champion from 1937 to 1949, and is considered to be one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. His 66-3 record included 52 wins by KO. This souvenir program dates to the 1940s and features many photos of Louis' fights as well as noting his service during World War II. Back cover photo portrait has been signed in black ink by Louis. Vertical fold at center w/scattered handling wear/aging. Fine overall. Signature displays Exc. A desirable signed vintage piece. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
