Item Description
Both rings came from Cheerios. The earliest is the 1949 LR Movie Film Ring which includes a 3-7/8" strip of 8mm film showing 25 full color frames of "official U.S. Marine Corps film... Many pictures in film were taken during actual combat and never before released to the public." Ring and film are NM. 5.5 square instructions very lightly worn w/a 1" fold split but clean and VF. Mailer has small ink scribble and owner lightly marked box bottom in pencil "LR Ring w/ Film". Fine. Second from 1951 has 2-5/16" film w/four panels showing The Lone Ranger plus Tonto in one and Silver in two. Saddle top slides off, interior is exposed to light and then film is pulled through slots to see the scenes. Instructions are 6x 8" and have tiny all over creases (as packaged) but have long been flattened and VF. Mailer missing recipient's address and small ,5" cut on one bottom corner but Fine. Ring and film NM.
