Item Description
13-7/8x18.75" artboard features pen and ink original art by Gray Morrow (1934-2001) for page 40 of Blazing Combat #3, published by Warren Publishing in April 1966. Art is for second page of Water Hole! story set during the American Indian Wars and page features five panels, showing US Calvary troop arriving on scene of wagon train massacre. Of note, one soldier is seen about to throw up after viewing the carnage. Bottom margin has some penciled numbers/editorial notations and upper left corner has 1x1.25" corner tip off w/crease below it. .75" dark stain at lower left margin. Each corner of art area has four small pin holes, likely used for printing purposes. Artboard is VG, but art remains clean and VF overall.
