Item Description
10.25x15.75" comic page stock artboard has original aet in blue pencils by Larry Lieber and inks by John Tartaglione. Larry Lieber is an American comic book artist and writer best known as co-creator of the Marvel Comics superheroes Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man and for his long stint both writing and drawing the Marvel Western Rawhide Kid. Lieber is the younger brother of Marvel Comics writer, editor, and publisher Stan Lee. Art is for page 19 of Rawhide Kid #87 published by Marvel Comics, May 1971. Four panel page has dynamic art featuring a gunfight in a mining town against the Claymoor gang and calling for his horse in the last panel from the storyline "When The Spoilers Strike". Top margin has handwritten issue/page numbers. Lt. handling wear. Reverse has Comics Code Authority inkstamp, some lt. soiling and a few lt. tan stains that can be seen through front. Front of artboard has some scattered soiling/dust soiling at margins but art remains clean and VF overall.
