9.25x12-1/8" sheet music for Batterin' Babe - Look At Him Now, written by Jack O'Brien and Billy Timmins and published by Colonial Music Publishing Co. ©1919. Red Sox legend and National Baseball HOF member Babe Ruth (1895-1948) had a number of songs dedicated to him, this being one of the more rare examples. Front features action image of Ruth at bat in Boston Red Sox uniform, w/facsimile inscription/signature at lower right. Front also notes "The Home Run Song Hit Of The Season" as being "Dedicated To Our Own 'Babe' Ruth." Four-page folder has three vertical creases and three horizontal creases. Back cover has .25x1" strip of surface paper lift along top right margin. VG. Rare.
