Item Description
Marvel. Published Nov. 2006. Published w/partially blank (image of worried looking Wolverine at lower left is printed) cover for sketches. These variant cover editions were available to retailers 1 per every 300 copies of Civil War #3 ordered. This example features pen and ink original art by Arthur Suydam - popular Marvel artist noted for his work on the various Marvel Zombies titles and spin-offs - showing zombie Wolverine from the back, seen from the waist up. Of note, a dislodged eyeball can be seen dripping down from its socket. Original art nicely complements the printed image of Wolverine, whose worried expression now plays on the fact that his zombified alternate appears to have just noticed him. Issue has some minor pinch creases to spine and some lt. handling wear. VF.
