Item Description
5.75x16.25" "Batman/Newspaper Strip" artboard features pen and ink original art for Jan. 15, 1991 Batman daily strip. Strip features three panels w/art by Carmine Infantino (1925-2013) and John Nyberg and shows Robin attending to stricken Batman as he waits for Batmobile to arrive on autopilot, which stops a hairsbreadth away from Robin, much to his relief. Batman appears only in first panel. Robin and Batmobile appear in every panel. Second panel has paste-over credits block and lower left has handwritten "Wk. 63 1-15-91" date. Artboard has some lt. scattered dust soiling but art remains clean and Exc.
