Item Description
8.5x11" sheet of unlined paper features preliminary pencil sketch measuring approx. 5.5x7" depicting nude woman sitting on the edge of a large birthday cake, complete w/single large candle. Art is by Michael William Kaluta, a comic artist best-known for his 1970s The Shadow comic as well as for his album cover work. Art has been inscribed "To John" in pencil and signed by Kaluta, who added "1975" date. Sheet has some aging/lt. staining across top margin but o/w art remains clean and Exc.
