Item Description
Original cardboard box missing lid contains the first Superman timepiece produced, made in 1940 by New Haven Clock Co. and distributed by The Everbrite Watch Co. Inc. Box bottom and insert have moderate wear, illustrated die-cut insert has some creasing and small tears where watch was displayed. Still VG overall. 1.25" chromed metal case. Dial features illustration of Superman from knees up w/"Superman" comic book title/logo below. Original leather bands show some wear from use and have partial separation between layers of leather. Crystal has yellowed w/age and has lt. wear. Dial remains clean. Case has some lt. luster wear. Running. Watch is VG and band is Fair.
