Item Description
Beautifully designed 1.25" button has "Parisian Novelty Co. Chicago - Sole Licensee" curl text. Betty Boop is posed on stage between curtains and button likely dates from the time of her earliest appearances in cartoons by creator Max Fleischer, which began in 1930. Bottom right carries small text " © Fleischer Studios." The first button for a major character who endures to this day. This is the button photographed for the book (pg. 29)  Button Power by Carter/Hake. One faint tiny dot near 4 o'clock edge. NM. Comes w/Hake's COA.
