Item Description
See previous item #655. This is larger of two paint set produced by Transogram in 1954. Set No. 1855. Box design is very similar, adding sample coloring pages to lid. Box is complete w/insert and cardboard tray. Box shows just lt. corner tip/edge wear and is VF overall. Contents are completely different in this larger set, w/18 watercolor paint tablets in Vacuform plastic tray and six 9.25x12" single-sided sheets to color. Three have been neatly colored and all have staple holes at top corners as originally attached to insert (which has corresponding staple holes. Paints show some wear from use w/some small scattered splotches of paint on tray but overall contents are Fine to VF. David Barsalou Collection.
