1-11/16" tall. Brass. Art nouveau styled hanger suspends medallion w/portrait of TR at center by engraver Brenner famous for his image of Lincoln on the penny, the longest running image in US Mint history. Raised text on the rim "For Two Years Continuous Service On The Panama Canal." Reverse shows the famous canal w/ships and text above "The Land Divided The World United" and on rim edge"Presented By The President Of The United States." Only minor wear. Retaining crisp details. NM. Historic and scarce.
