Item Description
1" brass shell. DeWitt 1864-94. Image has "For President Abraham Lincoln" above and is flanked by a pair of shields enclosed in stars and wreaths. Reverse "For Vice President Andrew Johnson" w/small text "Pat Aug. 12, 1862." Both portraits are superb w/watery sheen in reflected light. Excellent contrast and clarity. Brass shell has only a trace of light green patina. Exc. See item #46 for matching Fremont.
